How is CalmSeat different from a foam cushion?
Foam slowly compresses and goes flat. CalmSeat is made of 2" double-layer honeycomb gel that flexes under you and springs back after every sit. The open honeycomb design also lets air flow, so it stays cooler than memory foam.
What is the cutout at the back for?
It's a tailbone cutout: an open space so your tailbone isn't pressing into the seat while the gel supports the rest of your weight.
What size is it? Will it fit my chair?
CalmSeat measures 16" × 13" × 2" and weighs about 2 lbs. It fits most recliners, armchairs, sofas, kitchen and dining chairs, office chairs and car seats.
Do I need the cover?
The cushion works on its own. The optional black breathable cover adds a soft layer, keeps the gel clean and zips off for machine washing.
How do I clean it?
Rinse the gel with water and mild soap and let it air dry. Machine wash the cover on a gentle cycle and air dry.
